The Lewis & Clark 4-H Foundation exists to provide financial support to Lewis & Clark County 4-H through:
Programs: aiding in the maintainence, development, and promotion of our county 4-H program and facilities in through fundraising, investing opportunities and advertising for donations.
Projects: providing financial assistance for educational activities and specific project development.
People: supporting 4-H youth and volunteer leaders through scholarship awards, youth and leadership development, and educational activities.
Supporting our county 4-H program
During the 2022-2023 4-H year, the Foundation provided assistance through:
- Financial support to the Lewis & Clark 4-H Council
- 4-H Project assistance support
- Family financial assistance
- Three scholarships to graduating seniors
- Support to Teen Leaders for “Backpacks for Foster Kids”
- Support to 4-H Summer Camp
- Donation to the Fair tents
- Bill Hamilton 4-H Building improvements

4-H empowers young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime.
Since 1902, 4-H has provided a research-based experience that includes a mentor, a hands-on project, and a meaningful leadership opportunity.
Based on their interests and guided by adult mentors, youth develop their own pathway in 4‑H. They select from a broad menu of local 4‑H programs. There are hands-on, learn-by-doing, opportunities for everyone.
